The increase of manufacture’s volumes in metallurgy calls forth the growth of consumption of air separation products. In this connection the enterprises of metallurgy require the delivery of new tonnage air separation plants (ASP) or the upgrading of existing ones. Such work by the orders of enterprises can be carried out by JCS «Cryogenmash» — the main manufacturer of ASP of large productivity on the territory of the commonwealth of independent states. The experts of this enterprise have executed large volume of works, which were finished by start-up in operation of the upgrading plant «KAp-30M1» at Krivoy Rog State Integrated Mining and Metallurgical Workscombine «KrivorozhStal». The manufacturing of the plant, delivery to the customer and also mounting and precommissioning works were realized by JSC «Cryogenmash» together with «Cryoimpex» Ltd and CJSC «SPC Cryoservice». The plant «KAp-30M1», processing smaller volume of air, makes 14% more oxygen gaseous technical, liquid argon in 2 times as much and at addition 40000m3/h of pure gaseous nitrogen. The start-up of the given plant at metallurgical works will allow to improve quality of output production and to increase its quantity.
