Abstract

The basic direction of air separation plants perfection is reduction of specific expenses of electric power for manufacture of air separation products. One of the electric power consumers of air separation plants is air purification unit. The authors carried out the analysis of possible ways of reduction of the electric capacity consumed by electroheaters of air purification units of average and high pressure of air separation plants.
