INTERNATIONAL SEMINAR СО2-2005: DISCUSSION OF POWER AND ECOLOGICALLY-TECHNOLOGICAL PROBLEMS

Abstract

The Ukrainian association of manufacturers of industrial gases «UA-SIGMA» on May, 16–20, 2005 in Odessa had been carried out the international seminar СО2–2005. The questions considered at seminar have been incorporated by an actual problem of increase of efficiency and ecologically-technological safety of manufacture and use of carbon dioxide. In this problem was interested not only the manufacturers of СО2 but also those who releases the various carbon dioxide equipment. The urgency of a problem is caused, on the one hand, that carbon dioxide is hotbed gas, on the other hand, the high-consumable product in which various industries require. The detailed analysis of the specified problem was found reflection in reports. The statements on new development of highly effective energo-technological complexes using only natural gas for simultaneous manufacturing of liquid carbon dioxide, gaseous nitrogen, electric and thermal energy was made. Participants of a seminar have accepted the resolution calling the enterprises to raise the efficiency of production СО2, to reduce its emissions in an environment.
