PROBLEMS OF DEVELOPMENT OF EXPANDER–COMPRESSOR AGGREGATE FOR THE AIR SEPARATION UNIT OF HIGH PRESSURE

The creation of expander-compressor aggregate (ECA) is actual for use of energy of air expansion in air separation unit of average productivity, completing by the turbo-expander with capacity on shaft up to 350 kW. The brief analysis is resulted of possible directions of useful and effective using of energy of air expansion as applied to air separation unit such as «АgКgКААrg-2». It is paid the attention to characteristic of differences of a design procedure and designing of such aggregate from well-known design procedures of one-stage centrifugal superchargers. The general recommendations on formation of design model of compressor step ECA are given.
