EXPERIENCE OF CREATION AND MODERNIZATION OF PISTON COMPRESSORS WORKING WITHOUT CYLINDER GREASING AT TECHNICAL GASES PLANTS

It is necessary to exclude the pollution of technical gases by compressor oil during their manufacturing. For this purpose are created the piston compressors of cross-head type without greasing of group «cylinder–piston» but with preservation of traditional system of greasing of the movement' mechanism. The best way of this purpose is to use compressors with a vertical arrangement of cylinders. The information of compressors family for hydrogen, nitrogen, oxygen, argon, air and natural gas created on this base is resulted. The experience allows to modernize also the various existing piston compressors of multistage compression for their transfer into work without cylinder greasing. It is informed on such modernization of some the compressors working in structure of air separation plants of average productivity. The method of uniform distribution of pressure differential on piston rings is developed and realized for steps of a high pressure of compressors.
