Units for oxygen manufacturing from air by pressure swing adsorption (PSA) become more and more commonly used. Application sphere of units with reserving gas system is especially wide. Joint operation of two or more gas sources for the general network of a hospital requires analysis of metering characteristics of the sources. The metering characteristics of the pressure swing adsorption generator is presented and the characteristics of reduction for gas regulator calculated. Shown are the peculiarities of the joint work of the system and the problems that might arise, as well as principles of gas reserve formation. Recommendations are given as to the reserve gas system design.
