Abstract

The nitric air separation plants (ASP) A-8 and A-8-1 for manufacture of nitrogen under pressure are well recommended during the long period of their operation. The variants of their simplified and profound modernization are offered by the enterprise-manufacturer for prolongation of term of their service and improvement of parameters. By the example of modernization ASP A-8-1 it is shown that the simplified modernization of plant gives: the quantity of pure nitrogen has grown on 6 % at work in gas-liquid mode and on 18 % in only gas mode; specific expenses for manufacture of nitrogen have decreased more than on 10 %. The variant of the profound modernization is considered. In it realization the manufacture of nitrogen will increase by 10 % and the output of liquid nitrogen and technical oxygen of high pressure will increase.
