Abstract

Norms on maximum limiting contents of hydrocarbons in liquid oxygen have been established for air separation plant (ASP) by old designs in which there were no blocks of complex clearing of air. In view of features modern ASP and also in connection with increase of requirements to their safety the additional norms on the contents of easy hydrocarbons in liquid oxygen are entered. In article the specified norms are proved, recommendations to the personnel of safe operation ASP in view of new norms are given.
