About created effective air separation plant (ASP) «KtA-16/18» which is the first from series of new generation of plants intended for the enterprises of the chemical industry and nonferrous metallurgy is informed. Specificity of these enterprises will consist in application of oxygen at increased rather small pressure (up to 5 bar). In plants of the previous generations oxygen was made under low pressure. In this connection it additional pressure up to necessary pressure in oxygen compressors. In plants of new generation oxygen is made under required pressure. Thus working pressure of air in a cycle of ASP remains former that makes new plants as thermodynamic more perfect, i.e. energy-efficient. To them show interest a number of enterprises. In the near future two plants of similar type will put into operation. The technological circuit of new ASP and its characteristics is resulted. Features of its construction, in particular the organizations of work of mixture columns are reflected. New plant on 7 % less power-consuming in comparison with modern ASP of traditional construction and on 11 % in comparison with similar ASP of foreign manufacturers.
