Systematic monitoring the content of dangerous impurities in the process flows of the air separation plants (ASP) is one of the basic and important actions executed by the operating personnel of ASP in a common range of operations for ensuring the explosion safety. The data about results of such monitoring after relevant processing, allow the current situation to be estimated by comparing the results of analyses with the established standards. In addition, we may to analyze the improvement of the process flow diagrams of the plants and the efficiency of the applied methods of purification, and to reveal the features of the plants operating at the specific enterprises. The specified data are undoubtedly of interest both for the companies developing ASP, and for the personnel operating the plants. JSC «Cryogenmash» has been already involved in such work for many years. Some results of monitoring of contents of hydrocarbons in liquid oxygen ay air separation plants are considered and analysed.
