The ninth international seminar on an actual problem of increase of efficiency and safety of manufactures of air separation products (Odessa, on October 6-10, 2008) has collected about 100 experts from more 70th enterprises and companies from 12th states. In work of seminar have taken part the manufacturers of equipment and those who uses it for extraction from air of oxygen, nitrogen and argon for maintenance of modern technologies by them. The companies engaged in gas business have been submitted at seminar also. The organizer of seminar is the Ukrainian Association of Manufacturers of Industrial Gases «UA-SIGMA». The 24th reports in which the characteristic of condition and prospects for development of manufactures of air separation products were heard and discussed at seminar, results of research and design researches on problem of seminar are stated. An attention for to not cryogenic methods of manufacture of oxygen and nitrogen from air was paid. The active and interested perception of information, contacts with experts have allowed to participants of seminar to increase qualification, to receive the necessary recommendations for the further perfection of the equipment and manufactures of air separation products. The content of reports is considered. It is deduced about importance of carrying out of such seminars during growth of demand on air separation products, for higher requirements to provided level of efficiency and safety of air separation plants.
