The occurrence and development of research operations on a problem of automatizaton of engineering calculations in Gas Institute of National Academy of Science of Ukraine are stated. The area of thermodynamics and technology of field treatment of natural gas is considered. Methodical and methodological approaches to solution of this problem and the received results are described.
