Abstract

The air separation products allow to increase the efficiency of electric furnace steelmaking and quality of released steel. Two air separation plants «КжК-2» are constructed and handed over in Novorossiysk oxygen factory. Every plant can make 2200 kg/h of liquid technical oxygen, 2000 kg/h of liquid nitrogen, simultaneously 1200 kg/h of liquid technical oxygen and 750 m3/h of high pressure gaseous technical oxygen. Creation of air separation plants will provide the demands of Novorossiysk metallurgical factory «Novorosmetall» in oxygen and nitrogen.
