The much attention is given for development of the reliable and modern automation systems during creation of air separation units (ASU) and oxygen plants of new generation. Automation systems development tendencies for ASU and oxygen plants developed and manufactured by JSC «Cryogenmash» are considered. The article contains description of automation systems structural solutions, equipment and software applied. Special features of automation of the oxygen plant with concrete ASU are analyzed. Questions of providing maintenance and service convenience, high reliability, required level of fault tolerance for automation systems are stated.
