In Ukraine biogas resources of different origin as alternatives to the natural gas are estimated in a volume of 9 billion m3/year. It is necessary to purify biogas from carbon dioxide and other acid admixtures for the improvement of its characteristics and first of all calorie content increase. The characteristics of biomethane get in an absorptive unit after its purification are particularly the same as of natural gas.The calculations of the unit characteristics while using different water-amine solutions have shown that minimal heat loss on the provision of desorber work are reached in the application of methyldiethanolamine (40 %) and monoethanolamine (10 %) water solution as an absorbent . The given heat loss brought to the desorber by the hot smoke gases of a cogenerational unit is 0,956 Gcal on a tonne of biomethane.
