At gas-distribution stations natural gas liquefaction is carried out due to the gas expansion power, beginning from the main pipeline pressure to the distributive pipeline pressure, that is without external work outlay. The main design task of such liquefaction units is to reduce the cost of technological equipment and also the purification system. Considerable mass decline of adsorbent in a gas purification system from carbon dioxide due to the use of methane liquefaction cycle two-flow scheme has been proved.
