Abstract

Production of air separation products on the on-site conditions, economically beneficial for both companies who need updating there air separation plants, and for new customers who use technical gases. The characteristics of the first air separation plant, created by «Cryogenmash» by the conditions on-site for delivery gas to the shops of Seversky pipe works (Polevskoy, Russia). The conditions and backgrounds for conclusion of contracts are considered, the composition of the air separation shop equipment is given. The combination of air separation products  for production gaseous oxygen under pressure, nitrogen and liquid argon with the oxygen and nitrogen liquefier allows reacting flexibly to variation of the consumption modes of the production shops and to situation in the liquid products market. The modern engineering designs, implemented at time of development of the air separation shop equipment, have allowed to reach a level of power consumption in 0,55 kW×h/m3 for gaseous oxygen under pressure less than 1 kW×h/kg for liquid oxygen and nitrogen.
