Abstract

Reported about new, high-performance air separation unit (ASU) КdАdАr-18/14, developed by «Cryogenmash» for steel plant in Iskenderun, «ММК-Atakas», Turkey. Specific feature of this unit lies in employment of the average pressure process diagram for pressurized gaseous oxygen and nitrogen gas pressure on the principle of internal compression without the use of booster compressor. The schematic diagram ASU its technical features, is shown, the features of the construction node and get a cold heat exchange unit. KdAdAr-18/14 ASU — the first unit produced by «Cryogenmash» with the effective range of 50-100 % of capacity regulation. First stage input ASU in operation with capacity of 50% has been successful.
