Abstract

Company «Sumy NPO named by Frunze» — a manufacturer of piston compressors for air separation units (ASU), operating on a thermodynamic cycle average pressure. Company is constantly improving them, given the high demands not only technical, but also to the performance characteristics of compressors. About the elaboration of the 4VM10-65/71 compressor on the basis of serial 4VM10-55/71 compressor final pressure of 7 MPa and a complete different type of drives is reported. The methods improved performances of a new compressor 4VM10-65/71 are considered.
