THE EXPERIENCE OF DESIGNING AND MANUFACTURING CRYOGENIC INSTALLATIONS FOR PRODUCTION OF HIGH-PURITY KRYPTON AND XENON

Abstract

The installation for producing high-purity krypton and xenon from the primary krypton concentrate has been developed and put into operation. The principles of construction of technological scheme of the assembly unit for obtaining pure products and the results of industrial operation of KrKs-0,0005/0,00004 installations at two facilities in China have been considered. An improved version of the KrKs installation with the productivity of the primary krypton concentrate of 500 Nm3/h for air separation installations that produce 80000 Nm3/h of oxygen has been made.
