The classification of indefinite forms consisting of the sets of critical conditions and the functions inverse to them has been suggested. The features of the inverse functions of the first critical conditions have been considered. All the possible indefinite forms for an unified thermal equation of state have been disclosed. The features of the behavior of indefinitenesses which have discontinuities at the critical point are illustrated by calculations based on the van der Waals equation.
