Production of neon from air is accompanied by high specific energy consumption. Power requirements for the extraction of gas isotopes are an order of magnitude higher. Accumulation of primary concentrates 20Ne and 22Ne, successive enrichment and acquisition of highly-concentrated products can last for weeks or months. Increased competition and the increase in energy costs necessitate the increase of the efficiency of manufacturing products based on neon.To reduce operating costs for obtaining neon and its isotopic components, several refrigeration cycles are proposed. Calculations of cycle characteristics are reduced to the same temperature level.Optimization is carried out taking into account technological features of the production and the equipment available on the market. Analysis of cryogenic provision circuits made it possible to assess ways of energy costs and to identify provisions for their reduction.
