Purification hydrogen-containing gas mixtures having a number of impurities are carried out by pressure swing heatless adsorption that allows obtaining high-purity hydrogen. To assess the effectiveness of the PSA-units, we examined the influence of different schemes and conditions of the processes on the purity of hydrogen. Calculation results of the characteristics of two PSA-units operating with different compositions of hydrogen-containing mixtures are presented. Calculations were performed using the software «Aspen Adsorption». The results showed good convergence with the actual performance characteristics of PSA-units.
