Integrated treatment units (ITU) are an integral part of modern air-separation plants (ASP). They are designed for deep purification of air from impurities before its cryogenic separation. The focus of all leading manufacturers of ASPs, as far as the operation of ITU is concerned, is aimed at reducing energy consumption. High requirements for the reliability of the ITU, which determines the reliability of the ASP as a whole, a short switching cycle of adsorbers and a complex interrelationship of process parameters exclude the possibility of manual control of the ITU and require its complete automation.The algorithm of the automatic control system that allows adjusting the ITU operation taking into account changes in the parameters of air that needs to be purified (flow, pressure and temperature) to ensure its work in a power saving mode has been developed. The program of the computer control system has been developed and its testing has been performed. It can be used in operational and newly designed air separation plants.
