The 17th International Seminar on the urgent problem of improving the efficiency and safety of the manufacture of air separation products (September 6-9, 2016, Kishinev) gathered more than 40 experts from 35 plants and companies from seven countries. Manufacturers and consumers of diverse cryogenic equipment, including air separation plants, took part in the seminar. Companies involved in gas business in the market of industrial gases were also interested in the seminar. Twenty reports on the characteristics and prospects of scientific and technological development on the problematic issues were made at the seminar. The paper considers the content of the reports which allow making a conclusion about a number of new results that will contribute to the further improvement of cryogenic systems for the production of air separation products.
