Correlations are given for two-flow heat exchangers which allow calculating the loss from the irreversibility of processes using exergy and entropy methods of thermodynamic analysis. Thermodynamic calculations for the two-flow heat exchanger in order to investigate the effect of heat influx on its performance are presented. Results of the increase of heat influx on the exergy losses, exergy efficiency, the average logarithmic temperature difference and the cooling temperature of the direct flow are analyzed.
