The paper considers characteristic points on the Joule-Thomson curve: the inversion temperature, the maximum point in P, T-coordinates, the point of intersection with the critical isochore, the ideal gas curve, and the binodal of the liquid. The coordinates of these points and the possibility of using them for constructing the equation of a curve are discussed.
