Factors affecting the introduction of modern information technologies in training teachers of English

Abstract

The article grounds the important role of information technologies in modern democratic pedagogical training of future specialists, and discloses relevant factors in their implementation in universities of Ukraine. These factors are related to the individualization and differentiation of educative activities for students, their assessment by the teacher together with self-control and self-assessment of the students, optimal combination of forms and methods of students autonomous learning and so on. At the same time the article characterizes the place of the Internet resources, online courses and videos in teaching English. It is emphasized on the role of the teacher as an organizer.
