Influence of pulse laser irradiation (Nd:YAG) at different energy density (48-160 J/cm2) in air and in inert atmosphere (Ar) on physical and chemical state of the biocompatible Ti-Al-V titanium alloy surface is studied. Formation of different types of surface structures in particular, non-resonance periodic structure, areas of cell structure and periodic annular relief is revealed depending on the treatment condition and environment. The chemical composition of the surface Ti-Al-V alloy after laser irradiation in air showed increased content of oxygen.
