The electron spectroscopy method and the crossed-beam techniques were used for obtaining. the electron-impact excitation function of autoionizing states in rubidium atoms in an impact-energy range from the excitation threshold up to 600 eV. Measurements were carried out at the magic angle of 54.7° with an incident energy resolution of 0.4 eV or better. The spectroscopic identification of lines in electron spectra was performed. The resonance structure due to formation of negative-ion states in rubidium was revealed.References
