Application of «OFEKT-2» gamma-camera for bone metastase diagnosing

Abstract

Information on the basics of radionuclide diagnosis and the history of Ukrainian single-photon emission computing tomography is presented. A fully digital OFECT-2 tomographer, developed in the Institute for Scintillation Materials, NAS of Ukraine, is briedfly described. Basic specifications of the gamma-camera are given. Images acquired during the gamma-camera preliminary testing at the Institute for Medical Radiology, are shown.
