CuPbBiSe3 is studied as a cathode material for 1.5-V primary elements with lithium anode has been examined. Constant discharge parameters for 2325-type batteries with 1 M LiBF4 in ɣ-butyrolactone as electrolyte are determined at different current densities. The obtained high specific volume energies (over 500 Wh/dm3) give the evidence for promising applications of the electrochemical system under investig- tion. The mechanism of the current-forming reaction is analyzed.References
