Integration of education, science and production as a pledge of training of a competitive specialist

The article analyzes the main tendencies of the development of higher education in Ukraine and reveals directions of its modernization. The main sources and methods of financing higher education institutions in Ukraine are investigated and the main tendencies and disproportions are revealed. The prospects of interaction of private enterprises and institutions of higher education with regard to increasing their competitiveness and improvement of practical skills at the expense of integration of education, science and production are determined. The directions of use and activization of innovative methods in education are offered for formation of professional competences of graduates
