The article considers the place of the poultry sector in the agro-industrial complex and its role in supporting the country's economy, the state and prospects of functioning and development of the poultry industry, analyzed and identified potential opportunities and ways to improve the economic efficiency of poultry enterprises, found major problems in the operation and development of enterprises and ways to overcome them
