У статті розглянуто професійний розвиток фахівців з позицій педагогіки та представлено результати аналізу законодавчої бази України, яка регулює його механізми. З‘ясовано, що державна політика з питань професійного розвитку фахівців та освіти дорослих потребує подальшого опрацювання та окреслено шляхи її удосконалення
