У статті розглянуто основні поняття інноватики. Проаналізовано становлення педагогічної інноватики та теоретично обґрунтовано фактори ефективного управління інноваційним розвитком. Виділено сутність понять науковий та педагогічний дискурс. Досліджено історичні етапи еволюції терміну «педагогічна інновація». Охарактеризовано основні законопроекти про інноваційну діяльність в освіті
