Abstract

The article focuses on the search for financial opportunities for the resumption of infrastructure of water management complex of Ukraine to implement economical and environmentally sound use of water resources. On the basis of the data of recent years statistical studies the trends of water use efficiency for most water-intensive sectors of the national economy are identified. Given the lack of sufficient financial resources for the renewal and modernization of the infrastructure sector, the best option of cooperation between the state and the private sector is proposed, which is acceptable in the conditions of modern realities and the interests of both sides. At the same time, it determines the conditions of state regulation, which affects the dependence of the effectiveness of public-private partnership on it.
