Abstract

The article defines the modern understanding of the concept of «macroprudential policy» and its role in the regulation of systemic financial risk. A comparative analysis of the organization of the processes of macro-prudential policy formation in Ukraine and the individual leading nations of the world was carried out. It was determined that the organization of the processes of macroprudential policy formation in Ukraine is based on the model of the UK. The basic tools of macroprudential policy were defined. The toolkit classification depending on the phase of economic cycles and levels of use was proposed. It is proved that the integrated use of these tools is designed to ensure the establishment of warning systems (minimizing) the negative impact of external shocks on the sustainable development of the financial sector of the economy
