Features of the strategic planning of the bank key performance indicators

Abstract

The article generated a methodical approach to the calculation of key indicators of the strategic plan of the bank. This approach is based on the consideration of the specific activities of the bank (a large value of financial leverage as the ratio of liabilities to equity of the bank), on the definition of the bank’s strategic goals (the bank’s share in the assets of the banking system of the country), on the dependence of the balance sheet of the banking system on base money amount (indirect effect of the impact of the actual monetary multiplier) and at the most, depending on the size of the monetary base of the country’s gross domestic product (indirect effect of the level of monetization of the economy). The end result of the proposed methodological approach is to calculate the parameters of the strategic plan of the bank, depending on the forecast indicators of the environment and the possibility of revising the plan indicators when changing the environment without changing the strategic goal of its activities.
