Peculiarities of readiness for conscious parenthood of Ukrainian youth

Abstract

The article examines the
peculiarities of the concepts of "conscious" and «responsible» parenthood. Their essential
meaning and differences of use in scientific discourse. The importance of the approach of
conscious parenthood and the formation of knowledge, abilities and skills in Ukrainian youth as
future parents is revealed. An attempt was made to conduct sociological research and analyze
the data obtained regarding the readiness of Ukrainian youth for conscious parenthood.
Recommendations are provided for all involved subjects on the formation of conceptual
approaches at various levels for the formation of conscious parenthood among young people
