Abstract

The article examines the importance of family upbringing in Ukraine. Its significance in
the development of a child's personality and the formation of their worldview is emphasized. It is
noted that the state actively supports family forms of upbringing, preferring them over
institutional care. Special attention is given to the role of children's services in implementing
state policy on social protection, particularly in the context of protecting the rights of children
without a family environment. It is established that family forms of upbringing are a priority
direction of the children's services activities.
