The article analyzes the phenomenon of domestic violence against women as one of the
most pressing issues in the theory and practice of social work. Domestic violence restricts
women's full participation in societal life, with long-term consequences and costs for women,
families, communities, and countries. Violence against women and girls remains a gross
violation of human rights. Women who have experienced domestic violence find themselves in
complex life situations and require assistance. The article highlights the current challenges in
the professional training of social workers to provide support this vulnerable group of clients by
emphasizing the need for diverse social work technologies. It is crucial for women who have
experienced domestic violence to receive comprehensive assistance.
