Abstract

The article explores the issue of youth resilience as a key resource for countering the negative impact of armed conflict. It has been determined that modern social challenges, particularly war and its consequences, significantly affect the mental and physical health of young people, posing difficult tasks of adaptation to new realities. Special attention is focused on the role of resilience, which includes the ability to maintain inner balance, adapt to changes, and make effective decisions even in crisis situations. The relationship between the level of resilience and the ability of young people to resist post-traumatic reactions caused by military actions is revealed. It has been established that youth resilience is a multifaceted characteristic that develops through a combination of internal and external resources, such as psychological support, social connections, and the development of personal potential. Particular attention is given to the importance of a positive self-attitude and optimism, which contribute to enhancing resilience and help young people better adapt to stressful situations. The importance of supporting youth resilience from society is outlined, as it forms the foundation for the stable development of the state in times of crisis. The conclusion is drawn that increased resilience contributes to the preservation of the mental well-being of young people and their effective self-realization in conditions of heightened stress. The ability to adapt to challenging conditions, withstand stress, and maintain psychological balance is critically important for overcoming the challenges faced by young people in the context of armed conflict. The results obtained emphasize the need for further research and the development of programs aimed at strengthening youth resilience in complex socio-economic conditions.
