Abstract

The article considers the role of leadership qualities of social workers in the formation of effective teams working with clients of social services. Particular attention is paid to aspects such as the key characteristics of social leadership, their impact on teamwork effectiveness, and the challenges faced by social service leaders. The article also analyzes the current working conditions of social workers, which are formed under the influence of crisis situations, in particular, martial law and economic challenges. An important component is the study of prospects for the development of leadership qualities of social workers, in particular through educational programs, mentoring and reforming management structures. It concludes with practical recommendations for creating a supportive leadership culture, training social workers and supporting teamwork to improve client work in social services. In addition, the article includes an analysis of innovative approaches to leadership development and management strategies in social work, taking into account the current trends of digitalization and interdisciplinarity. Considerable attention is paid to the adaptation of social workers to the leadership role through the development of their communication skills, empathy, strategic thinking and decision-making abilities. The proposed measures are aimed at improving the interaction between social services workers and clients, which in the future will contribute to increasing the efficiency and quality of social services.

Practical recommendations are presented for creating a supportive leadership culture, supporting the professional growth of social workers, and improving teamwork to improve work with clients. The article highlights innovative approaches to leadership, including the integration of digital technologies to optimize the work of teams, build trust among employees and customers, and ensure effective management of resources. The importance of strategic thinking, the development of emotional intelligence and adaptability as the main leadership qualities in modern social work is emphasized.

The proposed measures are aimed at creating conditions for the systematic development of leadership skills of social workers, which will contribute to increasing the sustainability and quality of social services in response to the growing challenges of modern society.
