The article provides a scientific and analytical review of contemporary social work technologies applied to support families raising children with disabilities, with a focus on the Ukrainian context (decentralization of services, digitalization, and the consequences of the full-scale war) as well as international evidence-based approaches. The theoretical and methodological framework is grounded in the biopsychosocial model of disability, particularly the logic of functioning and participation, the role of environmental factors, and the value principles of family-centered service delivery. It is demonstrated that “modern technologies” in social work encompass: organizational and procedural models (case management, interagency and interdisciplinary teams, standardized needs assessment and planning), empowerment and participation practices (strengths-based perspective, partnership with parents, peer support groups, family decision-making), as well as digital and remote formats (electronic case management, online service access, telepractice/tele-social work). Particular attention is paid to systemic challenges, including data fragmentation and weak coordination, inequalities in access, insufficient support for caregivers, lack of resources for rehabilitation and inclusion, as well as risks of stigmatization and violence against children with disabilities. The text presents examples of technology implementation in real contexts (early intervention based on a municipal service; electronic case management; case management practices in humanitarian response). Prospects for further research are substantiated, particularly regarding the evaluation of the effectiveness of integrated technologies at the community level and the ethical aspects of digitalization in social work.
