The special reseaching and design bureau (SRDB) on a cryogenic engineering of Physicotechnical institute of low temperatures of a national Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (Kharkov) are more than 40 years. In this bureau the serious own researches in cryophysics’s area are carried on which then applies into developments of different unique cryogenic systems and technologies. Here on an experimental factory their production is organized. Thus, in SRDB all stages of researches, developments and production of various types of equipment for cryogenic systems both technologies of economic and special destination are sequentially realized. Having such possibilities, SRDB takes not separate instruments or systems but makes all necessary complex of equipments which haves the completed form. In the given article the main directions of SRDB’s activity are stated, the some developments are reduced which were in overwhelming majority made not on the ready prototypes and techniques but demanding the creations of new mathematical models and even of principles of calculations, holding of considerable volumes of valuable physical experiments. All this testifies that in SRDB creates the power intellectual base and strong organization structure capable to successfully decide many complicated tasks of a cryogenic engineering.
