Abstract

The industry’s requirement of the hydrogen has steadily grown. Therefore a constantly pays attention to perfection the processes and technologies of manufacturing hydrogen. The various hydrogenous gas mixtures are one of sources of hydrogen. For extraction from them hydrogen it is expedient to apply in most cases the installations in which are realized the processes of pressure swing adsorption (PSA). «LINDE АG» now produces an effective installations for reception of purity hydrogen with the help of PSA processes with productivity up to 300000 nm3/h. For the period since 1974 the firm has constructed a hydrogen installations with a total annual production rate more than 45 billion nm3 by initial hydrogenous gas mixtures. The basic features of installations with PSA for manufacture of hydrogen and other gases, and also some directions of their perfection are considered in given article.
