Abstract

The equipment of laboratories by instrument means for controlling quality of pure gases and their impurities, is a urgent task which decision restrains in high cost of necessary equipments. It is offered to decide this task on the basis of available domestic chromatographs such as “XTM”. For their use it is necessary to create the reliable techniques for transforming these devices into enough universal means for measurement of various traces, which contents are limited by the appropriate normative documents and specifications. In the present article the original technique for measurement of microconcentration of water vapor in industrial gases is described. The way of graduation of a scale for organization of concrete measurements is resulted. The comparison of the executed measurements with measurements on other techniques confirms high accuracy of definition of traces in water vapor in helium, argon and nitrogen with the help of chromatograph such as «XTM».
