RESULTS OF EXPERIMENTAL INVESTIGATIONS OF PSA NITROGEN PLANTS

Various firms make the plants with PSA for manufacturing of gaseous nitrogen from air without heating pressure swing adsorptions. In spite of the fact that there is no necessary information in literature on recommended properties of adsorbent, optimum parameters of processes at plants. Data received at the AdKT-0,002 plant with carbon molecular sieve, CMS-F grade, product of «Carbo Tried» (France), are studied. The plant was operated both in a pressure mode and in a non-pressure mode with evacuation (VPSA). Results of experiments were used for development of programs for process calculations of PSA nitrogen plants.
