Abstract

For storages of gas and maintenance of regions by it where there are no gas mains, is necessary the liquefied natural gas (LNG). The large quantity of LNG as high liquid energy carrier are delivered to consumers by automobile, railway and sea transport. Its manufacture is organized with the help of the cryogenic LNG-plants included in special complexes. Classification of complexes with LNG-plants is considered in view of their purpose. The data on productivity of plants and thermodynamic cycles used in them for manufacture of LNG are informed. The information about effective heat exchangers, used in LNG-plants is resulted. The economic parameters of one of complexes with LNG-plants are analyzed.
